Penelope response letter

This was a task to write a reponse letter to Odysseus letter.

Dear Odysseus,

I’m extremely glad your okay. I’m tremendously joyed that you’re fine, well, and healthy. You don’t know how I felt and reacted when I saw everyone returning from the war, and you weren't there, I was heartbroken. People assumed that your dead and that made me indeed miserable. I lost hope and couldn’t face reality. I never imagined that one day after these 20 years a letter from you would reach me. You have no idea the amount of happiness I had when I read your letter.

Odysseus, I’m not sure if I can wait any longer. You being away is tough. Suitors started annoying me claiming they won’t go away until I’ve chosen one of them. Despite the fact, that I tried to kick these suitors away, they still stayed and now for real I don’t know what to do. Telemachus heard many stories about you and always wished to see how you face. He actually couldn’t sit still at home, he sneaked out of the home without me realizing, and he went out to sea seeking news about you and to find you. I heard no news about him, how he was doing or anything and that made me down. All people said that you were dead and never survived the Trojan War. They forced me to lose faith, yet after reading your letter, the blocks of my hope were built again.

You may not be here with me, but thoughts of you are always in my heart, I miss you. I actually can’t stop thinking about you. Come back Odysseus I need you. I will never lose faith and will always wait for you.
